Beyond direct food production, selected crops can also contribute to our future animal-feed strategy, helping connect crop farming with poultry and livestock production while reducing dependence on externally sourced inputs.

As production develops, TERAL aims to combine responsible land management, appropriate agricultural technology, irrigation and efficient production practices to improve productivity and create sustainable value from our agricultural land.

Building reliable poultry and egg production.

Poultry and egg production will be a key component of TERAL Agribusiness' integrated agricultural model.

Our development plans include modern layer production designed to supply fresh, locally produced eggs to households, retailers, restaurants, hotels and other customers in Ziguinchor and surrounding markets.

As the operation develops, TERAL aims to combine appropriate poultry housing, good animal health and biosecurity practices, efficient feeding systems and reliable egg handling to support consistent production and product quality.

Poultry production will also connect with our broader agricultural ecosystem. Locally produced feed ingredients can help support the flock, while future feed production and distribution capabilities can reduce dependence on external inputs and strengthen the overall value chain.

TERAL aims to develop livestock operations around good animal health, appropriate housing, biosecurity, efficient feeding and responsible farm management practices.

Aquaculture forms part of TERAL Agribusiness' long-term strategy to diversify food production and strengthen the supply of locally produced protein.

TERAL plans to explore the development of sustainable fish farming systems adapted to local conditions in Casamance, with an initial focus on species and production methods suited to regional markets.

As the project develops, aquaculture could become connected to TERAL's broader agricultural ecosystem through water management, locally sourced feed ingredients, renewable energy and distribution infrastructure.

Our long-term objective is to develop efficient fish production that can serve households, restaurants, hotels, retailers and other customers in Ziguinchor and surrounding markets.
